Summer Fun

I love summer! I love that the kids are so excited about an inflatable pool. I love that popsicles are the best treat ever. I love the little white bums from my tan childrens' swimsuits. I love it all!!!

Big Boy Beds

We decided to move the boys into big boy beds. I wanted them to be totally transitioned by the time the baby is here so they have no issues about the baby sleeping in the crib. The best part of the whole deal is that a great couple in our ward gave us the beds...for free! They can eventually turn into bunk beds and we will do that at some point but I need the boys to be a little bit older and a little bit less prone to taking nose-dives off of the top bunk. We've already had three nights with them in their big boys beds and I'm happy with how well they've done. Hopefully they will keep it up and in a week their cribs will be a distant memory.

We are having a . . .

As of today, we are 95% sure we are having a boy! Quote from the doctor, "If it ends up being a girl, I will personally come to your home and paint the room from blue to pink." So funny! Hayden really wants a sister but when I found out it was a boy, my mom (who is visiting this week) and I made a big deal about her being the only princess in the house and how wonderful that is. So far it has worked and she is happy for another baby brother.

Vacation

Last week we were able to spend the week at a resort in Palm Desert. It was a great trip!

The resort had a water-slide and Hayden lived on it for 7 days! She probably went on the thing 100 times! For those of you that are worried that I went on it while pregnant, it was a very wimpy slide.

Our attempt at a family picture. The sun was super bright and I couldn't take off my sunglasses. I've been having trouble with my eyes this pregnancy and now I have racoon eyes from being outside so much and having to wear my shades. Joey makes fun of me, but I can't blame him, I do look pretty ridiculous.

We took the kids to Palm Springs Villagefest, it's a street fair in Old Downtown Palm Springs. We got ice cream at Ben and Jerry's and couldn't resist the photo-op!
