I loved when I was a little girl and the JCPenney catalog would come in the mail. I would take it and flip through every page, circling the things I might put on my list for Santa. The Toys "R" Us catalog came this week and I gave it to Hayden to circle her favorite things...I thought she would enjoy that. Unfortunately the one thing she circled was the Cadillac Escalade Powerwheels. Ummmm, sorry honey, but Santa bought a house this year and won't be buying any Escalades for a long, long time!!!!

Love it...Noah always wants those. Hopefully she will drop some more hints for Santa!!
What other things did she circle? I don't think our catalog is coming to this address, I like looking at it too.
At least it was just a catalog. When my oldest was 20 months we were at Sam's Club and we thought it was cute that he wanted to get it in (dumb rookie parent mistake). He got in and did NOT want to get out. Needless to say, we still talk about that black corvette.
Sam told me he wants the same thing, that or the Lego's Death Star which is 500 bucks. What is up with these kids :) Too bad Sam and Hayden can't go cruising in the Escalade they would have a blast!
Very funny post, Babe. I'll need to explain to Hayden that we can't afford the maintenance costs on an American car. Maybe a Toyota 4Runner Powerwheels would be more reasonable.
How funny ;-) sorry but this is the funniest post ever... we both chuckled and laughed while reading it!!! Go Hayden... she knows what is good in this life.
glad to hear i'm not the only "mean" mom. my kids really want one also. i tell them that I give santa a budget and those are not within the budget!
I saw those at Costco recently (along with an almost life sized pony!!), and thought that I would have died and gone to heaven with something like that as a child. Nora is never going to have a toy that big though, that is going to be the size of her room in Hong Kong :)
I used to love the JCPenney catalog too. I used to go through the entire thing with my sister. I'm with you. Christmas will be very very small this year, and I'm starting to think we might never move. House are so expensive.
