Family Visit

My brother, Brennan, and his family came for a visit from Utah this past week. We had a jam-packed few days of fun. On Thursday, we headed to the beach club for some sand and sun. We then spent Friday at Disneyland. For Saturday, Joey was able to get Ringling Brothers Circus tickets through work and it was a blast. We had a great visit and can't wait until the next time! My nephew, Parker, wasn't able to come. He has some health problems and traveling is hard on his little body but we can't wait until the next time we see you, buddy!!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July. We went to our ward party in the morning, which the kids loved. Who wouldn't? It was 9am and there was plenty of cotton candy, snow-cones, nachos, and brownies. After the party, we headed home for some much-needed naps (the sugar crash was a major one). When the kids woke up, we had some friends, the Kanes and Larsens, come over for a BBQ and some slip n' slide action. The kids had a blast playing in the backyard and the adults ate some really good food. We ended the festivities by watching fireworks and eating smores. It was a great night.
