Kids Say the Darndest Things...

At FHE this week, we were talking about the Prophet. We asked Hayden who the former prophet was and she said, "President Hinckley". We then asked her who the new prophet was and, with a little help, she said, "President Monson". We then asked her what happened to President Hinckley. She thought about it for a minute then said, "He turned into President Monson". We cracked up!

This is funny because Shea now prays for President Monson and President Hinckley, the ghost, in heaven. They do have the funniest ideas.

Hi Katie!!!
I am so excited that you are almost here. So, I checked out that awesome house and you should definitely get that. That IS in our ward which makes me soo happy. Keep in touch with your plans. Isn't this last semester in school the greatest? I was reading your post on the beach and I miss those days!

Hayden is so cute! I'm really impressed she knew the prophets' names. You two are such great parents!

Hayden is so cute. Sam was mad. He wanted President Hinckley back. We had three FHEs in a row about how wonderful and kind and great President Monson is ... took him three weeks but he is getting used to the idea that he is now the Prophet. I was always worried we would run into President Monson at work and Sam would say "you are not the prophet, President Hinckley is..." Fortunately he got over it before we ran into him! :)
