Rockin' Out and More Temper Tantrums

I have succumbed to video games. I HATE most of them with a passion, but Rock Band is fun and "family-friendly" (the boys dance and Hayden thinks she is playing). Hayden loves to "play"...she isn't really plugged into the system but she is rockin' out with them best of them.



I posted a tantrum the other day and I honestly don't even know what it was about. This one, however, was because the boys love, and I mean love, to brush their teeth and I took their toothbrushes away from them. The boys have had more tantrums in their 16 month life-spans than Hayden ever had (even if I doubled her tantrums she would still be way behind). I love that even though we've parented the same we have three very different children. It's keeps us guessing and keeps things interesting!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day Dad/Papa! We miss you so much and wish we could see you more. Love you! Happy Father's Day to Bobpa!!! We love you so much. You have treated me like a daughter from the day I met you and I really appreciate that. You love our kids so much. I've said it before and I'll say it again, we are lucky to have a Bobpa!!!
Happy Father's Day to my wonderful, handsome, sweet, loving, funny and stud of a husband! He is a wonderful father. He loves to play and read to our kids. He takes Hayden on dates. He plays soccer with our boys. I couldn't have asked for a better father for my kids. I love you Joey!!!!

Griffith Park

A few moms and I get together for "fieldtrips" during the summer. They are great to have something each week to look forward to and the moms and I love to get together. This past week we went to Griffith Park for pony and train rides. Hayden was so brave and did great on her "slow" pony. Apparently you can pick slow, medium or fast ponies. It is such a fun outing. Anyone who hasn't gone should try to go this summer.

Our First Home!!!

We just got word that the sellers accepted our offer. I love this house and am super excited! We are moving to Rancho Santa Margarita in early August and Joey's office is about 25 minutes away. We love the community and the neighborhood is fantastic. In fact, the neighborhood is right across the street from an elementary school. We are very excited to start on the next chapter in our lives.

Should I Be Worried...?

Today Hayden got to watch "Hairspray". I adore that movie and think the music and the message are too cute. Anyway, at the end, Seaweed and Penny kiss and Link and Tracy kiss...sorry for the movie spoiler. I was doing some things around the apartment and walked back into the front room at the end of the movie to Hayden totally making out with the TV and by "with the TV" I mean kissing the screen....and she looked at me and was seriously embarrassed. I laughed and laughed. Every time I looked away she was back at it and I tried to get a picture of it, but she sensed when someone was looking at her. I hope this isn't a taste of what is to come...protect your sons!
